Undated, early edition. Original price 2'6 (or Australian 4'3). Title list at the rear of the book shows Puppies and Kittens from series 563 as the last title listed. Tootles the Taxi is the last title listed on the rear flap. Dog is present on the dustwrapper. The footpath is present, but there is no lead on the dog.
Pale pink boards with brown titling and illustration. Corners slightly bumped. Spine has a slight lean. Pages are clean, a few have some very light creases. Illustrations bright. Dust-jacket has some edge-wear, rubbing, tiny closed tear at the base and top. Complete. Very good.
Matteeditions with the 'flagging dog' on the dustwrapper had small print runs before the revised copies, quite a scarce title.
